Python @ Roma TRE 2019

In 2019 we’ve hosted the first edition of Python@RomaTRE.

We had a lot of subscritpions and was a chance for us to learn a lot about audience and their techical knowledge on python.
So we’ve met two main problems the first one was the platform, we’ve spent a lot of time understanding the differences between multiple environments due to Operative Systems, IDE, and so on. The second one was a lack of comprehension of very basic concepts of Python.
Python is a friendly language but we’ve to work with his main poweful tools if we want to gain all profit that this language has.
So this year we’ve started to do a PythonBasics a course that requires no previous knowledge but focus on the main basic concepts of Python.

Despite this the course was really interesting also for students (we hope) and technical level reached was enough high that someone was able to find employment in software farms cause they was interviewed about machine learning.
So we are really proud also if in the meanwhile we’ve worked to build lessons that avoid the technicalities of environments.

In this page you can find and download all lessons that we’ve done last year.
